About Professor Pollak

Dave joined the Criminal Justice Department in the Fall of 2013. He moved to this area from Pennsylvania, where he practiced law. For the past ten years he has been teaching Psychology, Philosophy, and American Government at Lakes Region Community College. He also spent eight years in the computer industry and another eight doing construction.  He and his wife, Erica, have four children, ages 12 – 23, and live in Laconia, NH. In addition to teaching, Dave is a serial renovator (he really likes sink), plays the mandolin (not very well), gardens (with moderate success depending on the weather), and referees soccer and lacrosse.
