Eta Zeta Book Support Award/Essay Contest

The Plymouth Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma is proud to sponsor an essay contest during the spring semester. The top-rated essay receives full book support for the fall semester;  the runner-up receives partial book support. The dollar amounts vary but are typically $500 for full support and $250 for partial.

This contest is open to all matriculated PSU students in the criminal justice major. Each student who participates must explain why he or she should be eligible for this award. Students with the greatest need will be given the most serious consideration.

Please note that this is NOT a scholarship and is not awarded by the Advancement Office or the Financial Aid Office, but rather it is awarded solely by the PSU Criminal Justice Honor Society. For more information, please contact Dr. Stephanie Halter.

“The professors use their real life experience to enhance the classroom atmosphere, and convey information in a way that engages and challenges their students. They want to see their students succeed, and will give them the tools to do so.”
