Andrew Novick is excited to join the Plymouth State Political Science Program. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago that centered around exploring global problems and international relations coupled with his professional experience both in athletics and business, Professor Novick brings a unique and diverse experience to our students. For the last eleven years, he has served as Plymouth State’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach after successful coaching stints at the University of Maryland and Tulane University. Not only has he worked with student-athletes from all over the world but has also participated and spoken at several basketball clinics and athletic conventions. His track record in business has included managing the operations of a small business to participating in a financial services Internet start-up to working for global corporations Citigroup and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has already begun sharing his experience in Plymouth State’s Undergraduate Business School teaching both Principles of Marketing and Sports Marketing & Sales classes. Prof. Novick is excited to bring his experience and thirst for learning to the political science students in his Global Problems course.
