Dr. An received his Bachelor in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University in 2008, and he received his M.S. in Finance from DePaul University in 2010. In 2017, he earned his Ph.D. in International Business with a Finance concentration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Dr. An teaches in both undergraduate and graduate business programs at Plymouth State University. His courses include Financial Management (BU-3210), Money and Banking (EC-4460), and Financial Analysis (BU-5120). His recent research examines the changing dynamic of emerging-market firms’ capital structures and their determinants. Dr. An is also a faculty adviser to the PSU Student Investment Club.
Dr. An’s research interests broadly include corporate finance, international finance, capital structures, and abnormal stock returns, due to announcements in both emerging markets and developed markets settings.
