About Chad LaFlamme

Chad began his career in Adventure Education in 2007 and started teaching at PSU in 2011. Courses taught include Rock Climbing Fundamentals, Paddling Fundamentals, Wilderness Expedition, Group Management and Leadership, and has assisted with the Immersion Semester. He has also worked as a backpacking instructor, rock climbing guide, canoe trip leader, environmental educator, and a ski instructor.

Most recently Chad was Head Climber Course Director at Outward Bound California and the Executive Director of Kismet Rock Foundation. Chad returns to PSU with diverse experience and is excited to support the next generation of Educators.
