About Judge Kent

Judge David Kent joined Plymouth State College in the Fall of 1971. He is currently professor emeritus at Plymouth State University. His responsibilities have included teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in law, real estate, education and criminal justice. His research centered in the areas of real estate and land use, with special emphasis on regulation of land use, investment and development and the impact of regulation on society vs. individual freedoms. Judge Kent has served as Department Chair and Coordinator of the Business Department as well as Leader of the Criminal Justice Council establishing the Department of Criminal Justice and as Criminal Justice Department Chair.
