About Professor Martin
David Martin has taught graphic design at PSU since 1993. Before that, he worked in Cincinnati, OH, as a graphic designer at two different firms over a 15-year period. He was creative director at Bottoni & Hsiung for 8 years and then art director at the George Tassian Organization for 7 years. Both design firms produced logos, ads, catalogs, annual reports, and other collateral for multinational firms like Wendy’s, Procter and Gamble, Jergen’s, Hasbro, etc. Both studios won numerous awards for their progressive approach to branding and corporate design. Martin’s work has been featured in design publications such as Print Magazine, Graphis, Step-By-Step Electronic Design, and Best of Print’s Logos and Symbols.
