Mezzo-Soprano Emily Jaworski is establishing a reputation for excellence in performances across New England. She is a passionate advocate of art songs and can frequently be seen in recital with Calvin Herst at the piano. Her love of research, dedication to musical details and commitment to text leads to unique and captivating programs. Jaworski and Herst have been honored with numerous awards for their collaborations. They have been semi-finalists at the Washington International Competition in 2010, were the winners of the New England region of the Artist Award Competition sponsored by the National Association of Teachers of Singing in 2008, and runners-up of the same competition in 2010.
Ms. Jaworski can also be seen gracing the operatic stage and is known for her engaging portrayals of a wide range of characters. She was most recently seen as Dorabella in Cosi fan Tutte, Idamante in Idomeneo and Aloes in Chabrier’s L’Etoile.
