About Professor Wright
Emma Wright completed her PhD in mathematics at North Carolina State. She earned Masters at North Carolina State in mathematics and her bachelors degree in mathematics at Gettysburg College. Her teaching at North Carolina State has twice received awards. She was awarded the prestigious Armstrong Maltbie Award for Excellent Teaching and the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. Her research focuses on symmetric spaces, in particular classifying double cosets. Emma enjoys the outdoors. Growing up in Massachusetts she vacationed in New Hampshire.
