Mezzo-soprano Eva Nagorka, an elegant singing actress, has appeared throughout New England on the stages of the Silver Cultural Arts Center, Hanaway Theatre, Smith Recital Hall, Spaulding Auditorium and Palace Theatre. A native of Washington, D.C, she performed in numerous venues in the Nation’s Capital including The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts – Eisenhower Theatre/Opera House/Terrace Theatre/Concert Hall, Washington Opera, and Lisner Auditorium. Equally at home on the operatic, concert and musical theater stage, Ms. Nagorka has appeared as guest soloist with the Manchester Choral Society, Händel Society of Dartmouth, New Hampshire Master Chorale, National Choral Society, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Opera Society, Opera Camerata of Washington, Great Waters Music Festival, Educational Theatre Collaborative. Notably, Ms. Nagorka’s career involves the teaching and coaching of singers at the high school and college levels. She serves on the voice faculty in the department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH. Previous academic appointments include Associate Professor George Washington University (Washington, D.C.), interim voice faculty University of New Hampshire (Durham, NH), St. Paul’s School (Concord, NH).
