Dr. Jonathan Dapra brings over two-decades business experience and a record of accomplishment as an executive, entrepreneur, trainer, and investor. Experienced in advertising, technology, software and publishing, he began his career at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.
Notable among his tenures was his leadership of AutoFX, a major developer of digital effects and Photoshop plugins and VP of New Product Development at Dynamic Graphics, where he oversaw the turnaround of the well-known Step-By-Step Magazine. He was President of Pandromeda3D, and founded the gaming middleware company Meta4 Interactive, later joining The Early Start Fund.
Professor Dapra had the rare opportunity of working to assist Education Management Corporation (EDMC) to develop one of the industry’s first fully-online undergraduate graphic design degree programs accredited by the Middle States Accreditation Commission of Higher Education. He held several academic management positions with EDMC and was responsible for curriculum and faculty development at The Art Institute.
Dr. Dapra’s research interests include, small business leadership effectiveness, executive development, business planning and strategy, and startup development. He has been teaching undergraduate students for the past 15 years.
