Kathleen Sciarappa has 26 years of experience as an elementary and middle school principal in New Hampshire. She taught grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Ohio and New Hampshire while researching curriculum and instruction as well as pursuing her interest in educational leadership, especially with aspiring, new, and practicing school leaders. Currently active as a mentor and educational consultant, Sciarappa coordinates a statewide mentor program for school leaders in New Hampshire and facilitates professional networks for experienced school leaders. She coaches principals across the country; provides mentor training at the state and national level; supervises graduate students; and consults with school districts on mentoring, coaching, professional learning communities, school culture, leadership, curriculum development, and workplace bullying. Sciarappa has been a guest speaker at numerous professional gatherings throughout the nation.
