Korey O’Brien is an Emmy-award winning former journalist who has pivoted his passion for storytelling for a local audience to focusing on a more targeted global audience.

The former morning executive producer at 7News in Boston, Korey led a staff of producers, writers, and reporters to craft modern, creative, and high-energy daily newscasts.

He now serves as a communications manager at a large technology company, where his daily work includes conceptualizing and implementing innovative methods of generating public relations and media coverage.

Korey is a Plymouth State University alum, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. He received his Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College.
