Lynn Stanley, LICSW

Teaching Lecturer
Mail Stop: MSC 57
Department: Social Work

I am the Executive Director for the NH Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. I am also the Lead for the NH Afterschool Network. Both of these positions involve policy, advocacy and collaborative work – something I enjoy immensely! I received my BA in Sociology from New College of Florida in 1990 and my MSW from the University of New Hampshire in 1996. Previously, I worked at Casey Family Services for over 14 years. I am a workshop trainer for a variety of organizations.

I am thrilled to be coming to PSU to teach Social Welfare Policy and Services. Policy is integral to the work we do with our clients. Social workers have an obligation to advocate for policies that benefit our clients and communities – and I take this obligation seriously.

I live in Penacook with my family, dog, cat and two geckos. When not working, I am often volunteering at the middle school or music boosters at the high school. I love to read, go out to lunch, and pretend I know how to garden.
