About Professor Wilson

Paul Wilson joined the full-time faculty of the math department in 2003 after a 30 year career in industry. He was trained as an engineer and has a passion for applied math to solve real-world problems. He serves on a campus-wide task force for internationalization of the university. Paul is active in a number of conservation related boards in the area, and likes to hike and travel. His hobbies are fly-fishing and furniture building in his home workshop. Paul transitioned from his full-time faculty position to that of part-time teaching lecturer in 2018.
