As an educator, Rob has been teaching marketing and business courses for the past 20 years at the college-level with over 200 online courses facilitated. His teaching focus is on marketing and sales and the synergies that exist between the two disciplines.
Prior to academia, he was the Global Sales Program Manager for Hewlett Packard. He managed a sales program that covered 103 countries and partnered with Canon to develop new products to bring to market. He also served as the Global Market Analyst – Corporate Strategy – Computing Market Analysis and Planning. He developed market forecasting using time-series, causal, economic, and historical modeling.
Prior to Hewlett Packard, he worked as a senior leader in the music industry delivering custom music and advertising content to business. He has written music for 68 television shows, 172 episodes including six seasons of Friday Night Lights, and 13 major motion pictures including High School Musical III, College Road Trip, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He recently completed music for the HBO Series – Perry Mason (2020). As a trumpeter, he has toured with such acts as Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, The Four Tops, Wayne Newton, The Temptations, and The Moody Blues.
