About Professor Miller

Robert S. Miller has been a member of the Plymouth State faculty since 1976.  He taught for 20 years in the Psychology Department, served for 3 years as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, then joined the Education Department.  He also occasionally taught writing courses for the English Department. In 2004, his play, Opening the House, was produced by the Plymouth Players, directed by Fran Page—this he regards as the highlight of his Plymouth career.  In 2012, he began transitional retirement. He teaches half-time in the Elementary Education and Childhood Studies Department and volunteers as a writing consultant at the Writing Center.
