Profile
Rob is a Masters Level Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC) as well as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselosr (LCMHC). He came to PSU in 2000 as a teaching lecturer and joined the Counseling and Human Relations Center part-time in the Fall 2009.
Rob is a teaching lecturer in the graduate counselor education program, focusing in the area of diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders. His main treatment approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing/motivational enhancement therapy. He has worked with a variety of populations over the course of his career including those with acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities, fetal alcohol syndrome/affect, autism spectrum, as well as those with substance dependence and substance abuse disorders.
