Since 2005, Hogan has taught courses covering theories of cognitive development. She holds educator certifications as a K-12 Guidance Counselor and Principal. Hogan has provided field supervision for graduate internships within the counselor education program for several years. She has published in the New Hampshire Journal of Education and is a member of both the New Hampshire School Counselor Association and the New Hampshire Association of School Principals. Hogan is also a member, and past president of the American School Counseling Association.
