About Professor Hackshaw

Shawn joined us in the Fall 2010 semester. His primary teaching responsibilities are the Math Education courses. Shawn has an extensive background teaching students who have a fear of math or who experience math anxiety. Before coming to PSU, Shawn taught at New England College in Henniker, NH and at Hesser College. Prior to teaching at the college level, he taught high school for three years. Shawn keeps his certification current and is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics (NHTM).
