Dr. Sprout was initially brought on a as teaching lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy in June of 2019 and joined the full-time faculty in June 2020 as the primary instructor in the Integrated Clinical Pro Bono Clinic. She has taught courses related to clinical skills development, management of the neurologically complex patients, advanced therex. She brings 11 years of varied clinical experience working across a variety of settings with focuses on neurological rehab, ICU level care, medially based fitness programming, Pilates based rehab and running her own private practice for the last 5 years.  

Dr. Sprout received her BA in Psychology, with minors in Biology and Pre-Allied Health from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY in 2006 and went on receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2009. Dr. Sprout is a member of the APTA and the faculty supervisor of the PSU Panther PT club.  

She is committed to combining her passion for promoting health and wellness in the community with teaching and is excited to expand the PSU Panther Pro Bono clinic to provide more varied experiences for both the community and students in the DPT program. Dr. Sprout believes strongly in experiential learning and excited to create creative hands-on learning opportunities in her current role.
