About Professor Guarino

Prior to joining PSU, Professor Guarino worked in the telecommunications industry in a variety of managerial positions.  His experience extends over thirty years at 3 Fortune Five-Hundred companies, a few private companies, and two self-owned businesses.

Professor Guarino began teaching at Plymouth State University in the summer of 2012 and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting at the School of Business. He is the advisor to many undergraduate and graduate accounting students and the Student Accounting Society.  He also coordinates the annual Accounting Career Fair and assists students with internships and employment.

Dr. Guarino is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
