Jayne Adams, Identity: Personal and Collective Paintings and Drawings

“Woman in Yellow,” Jayne Adams, Oil on Panel

Viewers will experience the powerful and dynamic touch of the artist in her presentations of people in their natural, day-to-day moments. Her artistic inspiration is the human form, and the figure in environments, in communities and the self.

Jayne Adams has been the recipient of three Currier Gallery of Art Awards from the NH Art Association and the Currier Museum. She has also received the Lacroix Award for painting, the Holland Sister’s Award and others.

Reception with lecture/presentation: Thursday, September 12, 4–6 p.m.
