The Karl Drerup Art Gallery is a center for educational exploration and artistic collaboration, that provides Plymouth State University with an outlet for communicating the goals, programs, and educational values of its community.

The Gallery’s Exhibitions Program, which includes The Karl Drerup Art Gallery, The Silver Center for the Arts Lobby, and Karl’s Shoebox Gallery,  aims to foster dialogue between students, educators, artists, and community members through the display of artwork by emerging and established artists. The Exhibitions Program is a laboratory for outreach to the greater New England region and the national art community.

With the goal to promote interaction with the spaces and artwork, The KDAG Exhibitions Program includes Gallery Talks, demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions, educational programming, integration of exhibition experience into course work, and cross-campus and regional collaborations stimulate involvement in the learning process. Internet resources extend the educational outreach of the gallery to the broadest possible audience.
