• Notarized copies of your high school transcript translated into English;
  • Notarized copies of your college transcript translated into English (if you are a transfer student);
  • Notarized 2016-17 International Financial Certification Form, which includes copies of bank verification (evidence of financial ability to afford university costs);
  • A copy of your valid passport and visa;
  • Proof of English language proficiency (see below).

If you’re from a country where English isn’t the primary language, you must provide evidence of English proficiency.

Full admission to PSU without condition:

  • TOEFL score (minimum paper score=530; online score=71),
  • IELTS score (minimum score=6.0),
  • PTE Academic score (minimum score of 52),


Full admission to PSU with condition.

Students who do not meet the full admission English proficiency scores will be placed in the Semester for Academic Language Success* (SALS), the University accepts the following methods of proving English language proficiency:

  • TOEFL score (minimum paper score=500; online score=61),
  • IELTS score (minimum score=5.5),
  • PTE Academic score (minimum score of 46),
  • ELS Language Centers completion of Level 112,
  • Or other evidence of your ability to use and understand the English language.
