Professor Paul Rogalus
Rogalus teaches film, scriptwriting, and American literature here at Plymouth State University, and he has taught here for the past 25 years. During his tenure at PSU he has been honored with the Harold E. Hyde Award, the Senior Class Award, and most recently the 2014-15 PSU Award for Excellence in Faculty Service, primarily his my work with student organizations. He is the faculty advisory to WPCR, to PSU Poets and Writers, and to the English major student organization MESA. His full-length play Crawling From the Wreckage was produced in New York City in February 2002 by the American Theatre of Actors, and his one act plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, and Boston. His short screenplays have won screenwriting contests at the Woods Hole Film Festival, the Wildsound Film Festival in Toronto and the PictureStart Film Festival in New York City. A chapbook of his micro-stories entitled “Electrified Skeletons” was published last year by The Medulla Review Publishing.
