Monica Ioana Pop Silaghi is a lecturer in economics at Babeş-Bolyai University , Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She teaches international business, macroeconomics (intermediate and financial macroeconomics) and economic development courses at Babes-Bolyai University. At Plymouth State University she teaches online course on economic analysis.
Monica Ioana Pop Silaghi has published several articles which have appeared in journals such as Journal of International Trade and Development and Journal of Economic Studies and Research. She is also the author of the book Romania in Transition: Foreign Trade and Economic Growth, which won a prize at Babeş-Bolyai University.
