March 15 Community Cinema: “Pushing the Elephant,” 7 p.m. at 2 Pillsbury Street, Concord. The movie focuses on one woman’s mission for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo where ethnic violence has created seemingly irreparable rifts among Tutsis, Hutus and other Congolese.

April 19 Community Cinema: “For Once In My Life,” 7 p.m. at 2 Pillsbury Street, Concord. Made up of 28 musicians and singers who all have severe mental and physical disabilities, the featured Spirit of Goodwill Band challenges preconceived notions of what it means to be disabled.
