In the winter e-newsletter we introduced the Student Support Foundation (SSF), a confidential program that offers grants to matriculated graduate and undergraduate students who are experiencing financial crisis. The SSF board is presently searching for a graduate student to serve on the board for the fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters. To find out more about serving on the board and to access the application, visit the SSF Web site. Applications are due by Thursday, July 23, 2009.
From the Bursar
Effective May 1, 2009, all paper-based payments will be converted to an electronic payment via PSU’s third-party processor. This includes paper checks and any credit card information submitted on a registration form or called into a PSU office. This change will create efficiencies that will likely result in payments being withdrawn from student bank or credit card accounts as soon as 24 hours after they are received.
Join PSU alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends on October 16-18 for Homecoming & Family Celebration 2009. A number of great events are planned, including a welcome reception with President Sara Jayne Steen, the harvest festival, athletic contests, Saturday evening dinner and entertainment, and a student performance of Oklahoma!
Many events require pre-registration or tickets and they often sell out. For additional information or to register, visit plymouth.edu/celebration.
