Healthy PSU is sponsoring a 4-week series for faculty and staff* interested in learning how to meditate! Gina will introduce a variety of ways to use meditation to become “stress resilient”, to increase happiness, decrease suffering and enjoy life more fully.

  • Each session will include a brief talk/discussion followed by a
    relaxation and meditation experience.
  • Each week will introduce a different type of meditation!
  • If you are ready to adopt a new practice to improve
    health, this workshop series is for you!

Sean Foy, is an internationally renowned authority on fitness, weight management and healthy living. As an author, exercise physiologist, behavioral coach and speaker, Sean has earned the reputation as “America’s Fast Fitness Expert”. With an upbeat, positive and sensible approach to making fitness happen, even with the busiest of schedules, he has taken his message of “simple moves” fitness all over the world.

Sean Foy is an exercise physiologist, behavioral coach, and author of the Wellness Councils of America’s flag ship physical activity and exercise books, “Fitness That Works” and “Walking 4 Wellness”. Sean is also the author and creator of “The Burst Workout” and the coauthor of the New York Times #1 bestseller, “The Daniel Plan”.

Come outside and Have FUN, Move More, Sit Less and Thrive!  There will be activities, refreshments and giveaways at the event.  The first 250 walkers will receive a Healthy PSU t-shirt! Attention Faculty and Staff, Come experience being  more mindful by learning the mindful movements of T’ai Chi with Darcy!

Dates: Tuesdays/Thursdays, January 26-May 5 (no class during spring break or during campus closures)

Time: 5-6 PM (class instruction will be approximately 50 min. and will begin at 5:10 PM)

Location: ALLWell North building, room 101 (lower level)

Parking: undercover parking in the garage at the rate of .50 cents per half hour (parking kiosk accepts cash/credit and debit).
