Museum’s Fridge

Museum Fridge logo jpeg

This virtual exhibition sought to build community during the time the MWM was closed to the general public (March 2020-June 2021). We are no longer accepting submission.

For most, their first solo and group gallery exhibitions happened during childhood. That gallery was the fridge door. Work deemed “Fridge Worthy” was proudly displayed to all who came for a visit.

During this time of home isolation the Museum of the White Mountains celebrates “Fridge Worthy” art and opens our virtual fridge door to everyone, any age or skill level!

We invite you to create brand new inspired work or submit older work that matches our prompts. Then, keep an eye out for it here on the Museum’s Fridge.

WARMTH

During the cold month of February, show us how you’re staying warm! Are you snuggling by the fire with pets, getting outside wearing lots of layers, starting a new creative project?  Share your warm thoughts for our February prompt: Warmth!

WORDS AT THE WINDOW

This prompt came from Plymouth Elementary School’s Art Teacher, Alexis Eynon, who asked her students and teacher colleagues to take a photo from the window of their homes with words of inspiration for your classmates and community.
