The Great Blowdown is a panel exhibition inspired by curator Dr. Lourdes Aviles’ new book Taken By Storm, 1938, A Social and Meteorological History of the Great New England Hurricane.

The exhibition opens at the Weather Discovery Center in North Conway on Friday, September 20, 2013.  Please join the Museum of the White Mountains for an opening celebration, book signing, and presentation at the Weather Discovery Center the night of the opening from 5:00-7:00 pm.
