Honoring a legacy.

The Museum of the White Mountains founding collection celebrates the rich history and heritage of the White Mountains region. To preserve and honor these unique artifacts and artworks, a physical home for the museum has been established at 34 Highland Street in Plymouth, on the campus of Plymouth State University.

Realizing a dream.

The museum, which opened in February of 2013, includes a large art gallery and exhibit space, state-of-the-art collection storage facilities, sophisticated digital learning resources, an auditorium, meeting space, and a classroom. Located in the foothills of the White Mountains, the museum is a living, learning laboratory for researchers, educators, students, and visitors alike.
