Alumni Relations Welcomes New Communications Intern

December 14th, 2006 by Adam

The Plymouth State University Office of Alumni Relations welcomes a new Alumni Communication Intern. Jessica Rasmusson is a Junior here at PSU and will be taking over for Rebecca Ciulla (‘06) as Class Notes Intern, as well as assuming the additional responsibilities of contributing articles and other pieces of writing to the alumni portion of both the web and Plymouth Magazine.

Jessica is a native of West Stewartown, NH, and chose Plymouth State to study English with the option of Writing. Beyond PSU she hopes to work for a magazine or journal of some sort before returning to school for her Masters. Eventually she would like to teach English on a college or university level.
As Alumni Communication Intern her responsibilities will consist of updating the alumni web pages with current pictures and information involving the broad community of Plymouth State alumni members. She will also be creating write-ups for the Plymouth Magazine including births, marriages, current employment and other interesting and important information revolving around the alumni community.

Her decision to work for the Alumni Office stemmed from wanting to work in an environment which is both professional and relates to her major. While working for the Office of Alumni Relations she will have the opportunity to strengthen both her technical and expository writing skills, as well as work on data collecting and sorting for various articles. Jessica is very excited for this opportunity and plans on maintaining her position until she graduates in the Spring of 2008.
If you have any information involving or relating to the current status of the Plymouth alumni community members and would like to contact Jessica please email her at
