Class of 2011 Gears Up for Graduation

A sure sign of spring arrived Friday, March 4 at Plymouth State University as members of the class of 2011 began preparations for their graduation.

Class of 2011 members Dorothy Kelly, a marketing major from Holliston, Mass., and Adam Plante, a finance major from Woodsville, N.H., try out their mortarboards as they prepare for Plymouth State University’s upcoming commencement ceremony.

Students gathered in the Hartman Union Building to begin the transition from PSU student to alumnus, picking up their mortar board and gowns, getting advice on finding employment, finalizing student loan agreements and signing up for alumni benefits. Nearly 750 seniors are expected to participate in the May 21 undergraduate commencement ceremony.
