Faculty Voice Recital Sunday, Feb. 18

Faculty of the Department of Music and Theatre at Plymouth State College will offer a recital at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Silver Cultural Arts Center.
Singers are Kathleen Arecchi, soprano, Eva Nagorka, mezzo-soprano, Holly Outwin-Tepe, soprano, and Ryan Turner, tenor. Collaborating on piano are Constance Chesebrough and Allan DiBiase.

The program includes a selection of Italian arias by Monteverdi, Scarlatti, Caccini and Marcello; and songs by American composers Walker, Hageman, Dello Joio and Rorem In addition, each performer will sing a song by Verdi, in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death. The program will end with a quartet from the Mozart opera, Idomeneo.
