Come learn to develop skillful means of releasing tension, restoring circulation, and quieting the restless mind. Gently led, challenging posture flows synchronized with conscious breathing help you slow down and relax into the deep peace of your inner nature. Yoga also helps develop strength, flexibility, balance, concentration, and resilience.
Evening classes include instruction in and brief practice of seated meditation, a wonderful way to complete a yoga practice and begin to befriend the workings of the mind.
Classes are held in the group exercise room in the HUB Fitness Center. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Some yoga mats will be available, sometimes we run out.
All levels of experience are welcome!
Classes are free for all PSU students, $5 for faculty and staff, $10 for community members.
Instructor Rebecca Marshall is Kripalu certified yoga teacher and PSU graduate student. She is also a practitioner of Buddhist Vipassana, or “mindfulness meditation”. Questions? Contact Rebecca at firstname.lastname@example.org
