Jazz Standard Time at PSU Oct. 12

Plymouth, N.H.—A quintet of Plymouth State University faculty, “Jazz Standard Time,” will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 in the Smith Recital Hall at the Silver Center for the Arts.

The quintet includes Tom Robinson, piano; Don Williams, bass; Jim Alba, guitar; Tim Gilmore, drums and Rik Pfenninger, woodwinds.

The Faculty Jazz ensemble performs jazz standards from the 1940s to the present. The October program includes: “Blue Seven” by Sonny Rollins; “Softly as a Morning Sunrise” by Sigmund Romberg; “There Will Never Be Another You” by Harry Warren; “You Don’t Know What Love Is” by Don Raye; “Recorda-Me” by Joe Henderson and “Lady Bird” by Tadd Dameron.”
