Exhibition 2004 at Plymouth State

Exhibition opens Wednesday,
-– 6 p.m. This
annual event showcases to the campus and community the
artistic achievements in a variety of media of many
talented and creative PSU students.
Students throughout the campus are invited to submit
their artwork to be adjudicated by a panel of three
jurors for inclusion in the exhibition.
This year, more than 150 works were
submitted for the judges’ appraisal. Jurors for the
2004 exhibition are Sally Duncan, adjunct professor of
art history and museum studies; Barbara Bragg, adjunct
professor of art; and Laura Levesque, a PSU junior
majoring in art history.
“We are working to be seen,” said Curtis
Phelps, a junior BFA candidate with an emphasis on
sculpture. “Having opportunities to show our work is
an important part of becoming successful as
artists.” Phelps hopes that his large wood sculpture
