Plymouth, N.H.- A forward for the Plymouth State College Women’s field hockey team has been selected to the Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
Senior forward Courtney O’Sullivan (East Kingston, N.H.) was named to the LEC Weekly Honor Roll for her effort in the last two Panther games. O’Sullivan scored
three goals in the last two games, giving her six on the season. She guided the Panthers to a 2-0 week against conference foes Framingham State and Eastern
Connecticut, scoring once against Framingham and twice against ECSU.
The Panthers,10-3 overall and 8-0 in the LEC, are on a 10-game winning streak heading into the final week of the regular season.
PSC finishes the regular season with four games this week, starting Tuesday (Oct. 17) at Fitchburg State (4 p.m.), and Thursday (Oct. 19) at Arold Field against
New England College (3:30 p.m.). On Saturday (Oct. 21) the Panthers will host Worcester State (1:00 p.m.) in the last regular season home game before heading off to
Saint Michael’s Sunday for the final regular season contest.
Panther Notes: Freshmen goalie Ellen Ward (Thorndike, Maine) has made a significant impact to the Panther defense, helping to produce the 10-game winning
streak. She leads the LEC with a 0.64 goals against average, allowing only seven goals in 13 games with six shutouts.
