PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Two members of the Plymouth State College women’s soccer team have been recognized by the Little East Conference for their performances
in three Panther games last week, the final week of the regular season.

Freshman Kristen Hurley (Norfolk, Mass.) was selected LEC Rookie of the Week, and junior forward Carrie Poulin (Westfield, Mass.) was named to the Weekly
Honor Roll. They were instrumental in PSC posting a 2-0-1 record for the week. It is the first career honor for Hurley, and the second LEC honor for Poulin this season.

A 5’4” defender, Hurley scored her first two career goals in back-to-back games. She tallied the game-tying goal in last Thursday’s 1-1 deadlock at Westfield State,
and notched the game-winning goal Saturday in a 1-0 triumph over UMass Dartmouth.

A 5’3” forward, Poulin scored PSC’s first two goals last Tuesday as the Panthers came from two goals down to defeat Southern Maine in overtime, 3-2. She came
back Thursday in her hometown to set up Hurley’s game-tying goal against Westfield State. Poulin is third in the LEC in scoring with 12 goals and two assists (26 points)
in 15 games.

The Panthers, 9-6-2 overall, finished in fourth place in the LEC with a 4-2-1 mark, and receive the fourth seed in this week’s LEC Tournament. PSC will host
fifth-seeded Rhode Island College Tuesday (Oct. 24) at Panther Field (2:30 p.m.), with the winner advancing to the semi-finals Friday (Oct. 27) at top-seeded Keene State
(2:30 p.m.). The LEC Championship game is Sunday (Oct. 29) at the site of the highest remaining seed, with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA
Championships.
