LEC Rookie honor for Leeming

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – A freshman on the Plymouth State College field hockey team was honored by the Little East Conference for her game-winning goal last

Freshman Courtney Leeming (Hanover, N.H.) was selected LEC Rookie of the Week. Leeming scored a key goal with 2:07 to play in the first half, and that turned
out to be the game-winner in PSC’s 3-1 triumph over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Leeming’s goal helped PSC to a victory in its opening LEC contest of the season. The Panthers went 10-0 last season in LEC games and went on to capture the
LEC Championship.

Plymouth State, 2-2 overall, plays another LEC contest Tuesday (Sept. 18) at Arold Field against Westfield State (4:00 p.m.).
