Dr. Marjorie King, assistant professor of athletics in the Plymouth State University Department of Health and Human Performance, has been selected as a Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
She is one of 15 recipients selected from the organization’s 30,000 members nationwide. Those who receive the honor serve as “an inspiration to their peers and as role models to the next generation of certified athletic trainers. ”
Dr. King was commended for her significant contributions to NATA and the athletic training profession over the past 20 years. The award will be presented at the NATA annual meeting, June 12 – 16 in Indianiapolis.
