WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Plymouth State College sophomore Rich Moskowitz (Amherst, N.H.) was eliminated from the NCAA Division III Wrestling
Championships Friday with losses in his first two bouts.
The unseeded Moskowitz, making his first NCAA appearance after winning the New England Championship at 157 pounds, dropped his opening match
to the #5 seed, Aaron Loewens of Buena Vista College, 12-5. Moskowitz went into the back draw, where he was defeated by the #4 seed Troy Hall of Pacific
University (Or.), 17-4.
Moskowitz completes the season with a 29-15 overall record.
Plymouth State sent a representative to the NCAA Championships for the sixth time in seven years under head coach Dave Carlson. The Panthers
completed the season with a 9-7 dual meet record, and placed fourth at the New England Championships two weeks ago.
