ADA, Ohio – Plymouth State College’s sole representative in the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, hosted by Ohio Northern University, was
eliminated Friday with losses in his first two bouts.
Junior Dan Moskowitz (Amherst, N.H.), making his first NCAA appearance after winning the New England Championship at 149 pounds, dropped his
opening match to the #6 seed, Troy Fabry of the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, 15-5. Moskowitz went into the back draw, where he was defeated by Zak
Kallai of Case Western Reserve, 11-3.
Moskowitz completes the season with a 19-8 overall record.
PSC’s other New England Champion, junior 184-pounder Nate Kittredge (Vergennes, Vt.), was forced to withdraw from the NCAA Tournament due to a
knee injury suffered in the New England Tournament two weeks ago.
Plymouth State sent a representative to the NCAA Championships for the seventh time in the last eight years. The Panthers placed third at the New
England Championships under first-year head coach Don Perrin after a 4-9 dual meet season.
