Newly Formed Classical Music Trio to Perform at PSU Feb. 24

PLYMOUTH, N.H.-Trio Veritas, a newly formed musical trio, will present a concert on Sunday, February 24 at 1 p.m. in Smith Recital Hall at PSU’s Silver Center for the Arts. The group features PSU professor of music Dr. Dan Perkins (piano), Linda Galvan (cello), and Alexander Romanul (violin).


The program will include piano trios by Johannes Brahms (B major) and Robert Schumann (Fantasiestucke Opus 88). Also on the program will be a newer work by Vermont composer Gwyneth Walker: A Vision of Hills.

In addition to the PSU performance, Trio Veritas will also perform in Manchester, N.H., Saturday, February 23 at Grace Episcopal Church at 8 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door. Tickets for the February 24 show at PSU are $10 and $12 and can be purchased at the Silver Center box office by calling 535-ARTS.
