PLYMOUTH, N.H. – One of the freshmen on the Plymouth State College ice hockey team was honored by the ECAC Northeast Conference Monday for his

Freshman Rory Nickerson (West Chatham, Mass.) was selected Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week. The honors came following PSC’s
come-from-behind 4-4 tie against Worcester State last Saturday.
Nickerson tallied three assists in the tie against the Lancers. He helped set up all three Panther third-period goals, each coming on a tying goal after WSC had
taken the lead. He assisted on the eventual game-tying goal that PSC scored with three seconds left in regulation.
Nickerson leads the team with 14 assists and is tied for the team scoring lead with 18 points.
