Panthers blanked by Lebanon Valley

HERSHEY, Pa. – Junior Greg Kutchma scored four goals Tuesday to lead the Lebanon Valley College ice hockey team to a 9-0 ECAC Northeast conference shutout
over Plymouth State College at Hershey Arena.

Kutchma scored three times in the first period, including once short-handed, as the Flying Dutchmen surged to a 5-0 lead after one frame. Kutchma added his
fourth goal late in the third period to round out the scoring.

The victory gives LVC a 9-4-2 overall record and a 7-1-1 mark in the Northeast, good for fourth place. The loss was the fourth in a row for PSC, dropping the
Panthers to 2-13-1 and 2-6-0.

The Dutchmen outshot the Panthers 49-17. PSC junior Larry Forgue (Nashua, N.H.) made 40 saves, while Kevin Block and Joe Agnelli combined for 17 saves in
the whitewash.

PSC returns home to Waterville Valley Ice Arena for its next game, hosting Wentworth on Saturday (Jan. 27) at 7 p.m.
