ORLANDO, Fla. – The St. Lawrence University men’s lacrosse team opened its spring trip to Florida on a winning note, beating Plymouth State College 21-6 on Tuesday afternoon.
Josh Feine led the Saints with four goals and an assist, while Tim Loveless added three goals and two assists. Pete Dolan added three goals and an assist, and Rob Russell scored two goals and had five assists, while Alex Moore scored two goals and added three assists.
Senior Andrew Quesnel (Middlebury, Vt.) led Plymouth State with two goals.
The Saints, now 3-1 on the season, will face Bowdoin, ranked 16th nationally by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints only blemish was a 10-9 overtime loss to Nazareth, ranked seventh nationally by the USILA, last weekend.
The Panthers, 1-1, play their first game back in New England next Tuesday (Mar. 26) at Bates College (7 p.m.). The home opener is scheduled for Monday, Apr. 1, against Salem State (3:30 p.m.).
