Piano and Flute Recital at Silver Center

Instrumentalists Aubrie Dionne, flute and Chris Gantner, piano will present a recital of contemporary works at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 5 at the Silver Center for the Arts.

Dionne is an adjunct faculty member in the department of music, theatre, and dance at Plymouth State University, and an active performer, teacher, conductor and adjudicator throughout New England. Gantner teaches elementary music at Maple Avenue Elementary School in Goffstown and is director of music at Park Avenue Congregational Church in Arlington, Mass.

Program highlights include Black Anemones by Joseph Schwantner, While Snow Falls by Geraldine Schwartz and Gordon Jacob’s Concerto for flute, No. 1 In addition, the duo will perform Mozart’s Concerto in D major.

There is no charge for admission.
